Uniforms

At Pride Academy all students are required to wear the school uniform.

Grey long or short-sleeved shirt with the PRIDE logo.
Uniform black pants, uniform knee length walking black shorts or solid black uniform skort (purchased from the uniform store).
Grey hooded sweatshirt with the PRIDE logo or black fleece with PRIDE logo.
Solid black (no additional colors) shoes, boots or sneakers.
Black belt, if necessary, with plain silver or gold buckle and shirt tucked in. No nameplate, rhinestone, colored, or other ornate buckles).
Black ankle or black knee length socks, solid black tights for winter if worn with the skort.

Uniform shirts MUST BE TUCKED IN AT ALL TIMES.

Grey hooded sweatshirt with the PRIDE logo.
Grey T-Shirt with school logo.
Black sweatpants with PRIDE logo, olid black knee length basketball shorts, or knee length shorts with the PRIDE logo.
Sneakers with laces or Veclro closures. (No slip on gym shoes permitted.)
Socks.

The gym uniform for boys and girls may be worn ONLY on scheduled gym days unless announced by the administration.

No jewelry except small student or post earrings may be worn.
Chains and bracelets/bangles will not be permitted.
No hoops or dangling-style earrings of any size will be permitted.
No grills or other dental appliances worn for cosmetic purposes may be worn.
Headbands may not dangle or drape.
No oversized hair ornaments (for example: flowers, bows etc).
No head coverings, including sweatshirt hoods, may be worn inside the building except those worn.

The school uniform may be purchased at Uniformity at their Newark, Branch Brook Complex location.
